Flutist Benton wins Coeur d'Alene Symphony Award

Feb. 27, 2014—Junior flute performance major Sarah Benton has won the College Winds-Percussion-Brass division of the 2014 National Young Artists' Competition of the Coeur d'Alene Symphony.

Along with receiving a cash prize, Benton (a student of UO Assistant Professor of Flute Molly Barth) will perform in the National Young Artist's Winners Concert on March 14 at 7:30 p.m. and March 15 at 2 p.m. at the Salvation Army Kroc Center in Coeur d'Alene, ID.
