Chamber Music

Steve Vacchi, coordinator

Student chamber ensembles are encouraged to explore many types of repertoire. Groups can be pre-formed common ensembles such as string quartets, or specifically organized for works calling for less typical instrumentation. Ensembles rehearse on their own and coach with faculty members regularly in preparation for performances.

Programs are widely varied in repertoire and instrumentation, and have recently been presented in venues such as Beall Concert Hall, the Erb Memorial Union, Collier House, the Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art, and the Knight Library.
