Caitlin Hutchison

Caitlin Hutchison, Admissions Assistant, is a recent UO graduate with bachelor degrees in geography and environmental studies. She was a UO student ambassador and a peer assistant in International Affairs, promoting UO study abroad programs. She also directed summer programs for seniors living in the Southwest who escape the summer heat to Oregon.

This position processes undergraduate and graduate admissions materials and provides clerical support for both offices, including maintaining files and databases. This position assists in recruitment, prepares and mails inquiry packets, and provides admission materials to prospective students. After students are admitted, the Admissions Assistant informs them about deadlines and missing application materials, assists with scholarship notification, schedules and coordinates music school auditions, and assists the Director of Admission during audition weekends. This position also provides administrative support for Oregon Summer Music Camps, including contracts, accounting, and arranging camper room and board.
