Shira Fadeley, Adjunct Instructor

Shira Fadeley, adjunct instructor of music education, received her bachelor and master's in music education from the University of Oregon and started work on a master’s in instrumental conducting, at UO. Fadeley has taught band, marching band, jazz band, and orchestra in Eugene and the Salem area since 1993. For many years, she has directed the handbell choirs at Eugene and Salem United Methodist churches. Fadeley plays trombone with the Oregon Bach Festival, Eugene Symphony, Eugene Opera, and Oregon Brass Society, and other organizations. She will teach Wind Band Materials fall term 2011.
