Important Deadlines for Fall 2012:
To be assured consideration for scholarships and teaching fellowships for 2012-13, your admissions application and accompanying materials must be postmarked by December 10.

HOW TO APPLY
- Submit an online UO Application for Graduate Admission and $50 (U.S.) non-refundable application fee. If you are unable to access the online admission application, please contact the Music Admissions Office for assistance. Students who have attained their master's degree from the University of Oregon can apply for a fee waiver (available via the online application).
The online application will include such materials as:
• 3 letters of recommendation requests (If you have attained or will attain a degree in music from the University of Oregon, you need only two letters.)
• resume upload
• statement of purpose upload
• sample of scholarly writing upload
• concert or recital programs (optional for intermedia music technology, music education, musicology, music theory, and piano pedagogy)
• unofficial transcripts upload
- Submit by mail official transcripts from institutions (other than University of Oregon) where you have earned a degree to:

- For Doctoral Applicants ONLY: Submit GRE Scores.
Students who are applying for admission should take the GRE in time for their scores to be available to the graduate awards selection committee. Scores must come directly from the Educational Testing Service. Please instruct ETS to send scores electronically to the University of Oregon Graduate School code # 4846.
- For International or Non-Native English Speakers:
a. Non-native English Speakers must fulfill the language proficiency requirement. Click here for more information. Important Note: For admission to the music doctoral program, a TOEFL score of 600 (Paper) or 100 (IBT) is required.
