Jessica Simoes, Admissions Assistant, has previous clerical experience in state courts administration in Florida as well as temporary agency assignments after moving to Oregon. She previously lived in Milan, Italy as an Au Pair. She has received bachelor degrees in Political Science and English Literature from Florida State University and studied law for one year at William and Mary Law School in Virginia. Jessica enjoys contradancing, played violin in her early school years, and is an avid shower singer.

This part-time position coordinates undergraduate and graduate admissions and provides clerical support for both offices, including maintaining files and databases. This position assists in recruitment, prepares and mails inquiry packets, and provides admission materials to prospective students. After students are admitted, the Admissions Assistant informs them about deadlines and missing application materials, assists with scholarship notification, organizes weekend audition schedules, and produces the Week of Welcome calendar.
