Debi joined the music education faculty Fall 2003 and has taught Music Fundamentals and Orff Schulwerk. She is currently a full-time faculty member at Lane Community College in the Music, Dance and Theatre Department. She is an adjunct instructor for Pacific University. Debi has been an elementary Music Specialist for seventeen years in the Bethel School District.

She has been the vocal director/instructor for several music camps and theatre companies, including OFAM Musical Theatre Camp, Northwest Academy of Musical Theatre, Arts Umbrella's Summer Musical Theatre Camp, Musical Feet Studio of Dance, Cottage Theatre, and the Very Little Theatre. Choral conducting experience includes various youth choirs and Interim Director in 2000 for the Young Men's Ensemble (Oregon Children's Choral Association) performing regionally and in Europe where they won first place in Vienna at the International Youth and Music Festival. She is currently directing a youth choir at the First Congregational Church in Eugene.

She performs with The Jewel Tones, Eugene Chamber Singers, Blue Skies Big Band, and the Eugene Recorder Ensemble. She has also sung with the Emerald City Jazz Kings and has been seen on stage in local musical theatre productions.

She is a member of the Music Educators National Conference, American Orff Schulwerk Association, and National Educators Association.
